Victor C. Parmann, 75, of Fort Gratiot, died Monday, November 19, 2012.
He was born May 26, 1937 in Port Huron to the late Victor and Corneilia Parmann. He married Irene Heidenrich on March 28, 1959 in Port Huron. She died October 30, 2005.
Mr. Parmann was employed with St. Clair Rubber for 23 years and U.S. Manufacturing for 18 years, retiring in December 2001. He graduated from Port Huron High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed tennis, bowling and going to garage sales. He was a great husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by two sons, Victor (Gerry) Parmann, Jr. and John Parmann and fiancée Sharon Olenik; five grandchildren, Mary Jo, Kayla, Aaron, Sean and Melissa; five brothers, Donald, Douglas, Harold, Gerald and Arthur; and four sisters, Gladys, Linda, Marjorie and Gloria. He was preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Larry, William and Dennis; a sister, Sally; and a great grandson, Jayden.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Aaron Parmann, Sean Parmann, Duane Burt, Tom Schrader, Doug Parmann and Rick O'Neil.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
