Charlotte M Willey
Charlotte M. Willey, 80, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 13, 2012 after a brief illness.
She was born January 11, 1932 in Detroit to the late Stephen and Eva Hall. She married Leo R. Willey on September 30, 1950 in Port Huron. He died August 9, 1985.
Mrs. Willey was employed for 35 years at St. Clair Rubber and then became manager of the Community Food Depot until her retirement. She enjoyed going up north to the cabin, watching the Detroit Tigers, caring for her dog, Bruno, and participating in many activities at St. Clair Landing.
She is survived by three children, Jean (Ed) Evans, Richard (Dawna) Willey and Patricia (Stephen) Keith; seven grandchildren, Edward S. Evans, Amy (Michael) Watson, Rachel (Tom) Lewandowski, Shannon M. Willey, Robert A. (Vonda) Willey Jr., Eric S. Keith and Daniel P (Melissa) Keith; seven great grandchildren; her sister, Nancy Maxwell; and several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert A. Willey, and a sister, Alberta Crawford.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December, 17, 2012 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Scott Babin of Bridges Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edward S. Evans, Robert A. Willey Jr., Eric S. Keith, Daniel Keith, Michael Watson, Thomas Lewandowski and Jacob Halas.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bridges Church.
