Robert E Strauss

Robert E. Strauss, 65, of Provo, Utah, died Sunday, December 16, 2012.

He was born February 8, 1947 in Port Huron to the late Ernest and Marie Strauss. He married Bambi Thomson on February 7, 1998 in Fort Gratiot.

Mr. Strauss was a maintenance manager in the hospitality industry. He served in the National Guard. He loved to camping, fishing and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife, Bambi; two sons, Chad (Christy) Strauss and Troy (Timeni) Strauss; three daughters, Heidi Chavarria and fiancée, Hiren Patel, Sarah Frierson and Cheryl (Kevin) Bolduc; a son-in-law, Shaun Frierson; 15 grandchildren; a great grandchild; his mother-in-law, Joan Thomson; a sister, Sally (Wayne) Darling; a brother, Harvey (Dawn) Strauss; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tim Strauss; a sister, Marilyn Fenner; and his father-in-law, John Thomson.

Visitation will be 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12 noon. Bishop Dan Willmott will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Davonta Frierson, Curtis Chavarria, Shaun Frierson, Charlie Sarka, Wayne Darling and Kevin Darling.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association.
