Wilma Butler
Wilma Marguerite Butler, 84, of Clyde Township, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012.
She was born May 14, 1928 in Snover to the late Walter and Lottie (Dove) Hill. She married John P. Curtiss in 1960. He died August 16, 1992. She married Richard Butler on November 29, 1997.
Mrs. Butler graduated from Marysville High School in 1946. She was a self-employed beautician and also worked in industrial sewing.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; four children, Walter (Sandy Farquher) Curtiss, Rebecca (Douglas) White, Theresa Curtiss and Peter Curtiss; three stepchildren, Sherri (Jeff) Fiedler, Raymond (Charlotte) Butler and Vickie (Charles) Higgins; grandchildren, Joy Schmidt, Brad (Lisa) Curtiss, Jared (Peggy) Schmidt, Victoria (Randy) Volosky, Justin (April) Curtiss, Jonathon (Jenna) Lemmon, Amanda (Nate) Lester, Peter J Curtiss II, Kayli Curtiss and Anthony Hendra; and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rachel Schmidt in December 1976.
Visitation will be 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Community Baptist Church. The Reverend Jim Jones will officiate.
Burial will be in Washington Township Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Baptist Church or the Disabled American Veterans.
