Greeley L. Steele, 94, of Blue Water Lodge in Fort Gratiot Township, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013.
He was born February 12, 1918 in Pickford to the late James and Janet Steele. He married Virgeline Cote' on July 2, 1939. She died in 1980. He married Louise Myron on August 10, 1981. She died November 11, 2009.
Mr. Steele attended Pickford schools, graduating in 1936, and Port Huron Business College. He worked for Mueller Brass Company from 1937 to 1969 and then for Burgess Norton Manufacturing in Geneva, Illinois until his retirement in 1980.
He is survived by two sons, Donald (Judy) Steele and William (MaryAnn) Steele; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death a son, Robert Steele; a daughter-in-law, Linda Steele; five sisters; and a brother.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
