Verna E Searle

Verna E. Searle, 92, of Port Huron Township, died Monday, February 4, 2013.

She was born March 14, 1920 in Rudyard, Michigan to the late Angus and Alice MacDonald. She married George Searle on March 15, 1941 in Port Huron. He died November 17, 1989.

Mrs. Searle was an avid golfer and bowler and a member of the Mueller Brass Quarter Century Club.

She is survived by two children, Judy Searle and George (Edie) Searle Jr.; three grandchildren, Alesia Bowen, David Searle and Michelle (Mike) Woods; great grandchildren, Danielle Bowen, Kristina Bowen, Nathan Searle, Brandon Searle, Greg Woods, Keith Woods and Megan Woods; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Loxton, and a brother, Fred MacDonald.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Elder David Teeple will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Searle, Brandon Searle, Nathan Searle, Mike Woods, Greg Woods, Keith Woods, Mike Loxton and Paul Loxton.
