James C Keys

James Curtis Keys, 65, of Burtchville Township, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013.

He was born January 13, 1948 in Sandusky to the late James and Maxine Keys. He married Margaret Ignash on June 14, 1974 in Port Huron.

Mr. Keys was a driver with SKMK Trucking. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; three children, Andrew (Barb) Keys, Crystal Keys and Rosa Eveland; six grandchildren, Megan Cheyenne, Nyssa, Justine, Alexander and Hannah; a brother, Jeff (Cindy) Keys; and several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

A military service will be held under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council and the U.S. Army at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 in the Mt. Hope Cemetery Chapel.
