Alwyn Gregg
Alwyn Robert "Butch" Gregg, 55, of St. Clair Township, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in an accident three months ago.
He was born May 19, 1957 in St. Clair to M. Arlene and the late Alfred Gregg. He married Peggy Bice on October 4, 1980 in Smiths Creek.
Mr. Gregg was a truck driver with Theut Products for 36 years prior to his retirement. He was involved in Boy Scouts and 4-H with his children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time up north.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy; two children, Jo Lee (Aric) VanTroostenberghe and Branden Gregg; two grandchildren, Jinger and Miranda VanTroostenberghe; his mother, M. Arlene Gregg; three siblings, Kenneth (Denise) Gregg, Katherine (Paul) Welser and Cheryl (David) Allison; brother-in-law, David Reynolds; sister-in-law, Kristine Gregg; his mother-in-law, Ramona Bice; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lisa (Eric) Zanetti; good friend, James Welser; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father in 2001; a sister, Pamela Reynolds in 2002; and a brother, Thomas Gregg in 2012.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013 in First Baptist Church of Marysville. The Reverend Dallas Berry will officiate.
