Robert E Gray

Robert Edwin Gray, 76, of Port Huron Twp. died unexpectedly on Friday, April 19, 2013.

He was born September 18, 1936 in Port Huron to the late Jack and Lida (Phillips) Gray.

Mr. Gray married Susan L. Howard on February 1, 1958 in Port Huron.

Mr. Gray retired from the St. Clair County Road Commission after 23 years of service. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; two sons, Robert (Erika) Gray, Jr. and John (Johnna) Gray; two daughters, Kathleen (Duane) Brown and Kristine (Scott) Hilliker; nine grandchildren, Dale Moses Jr., Nichole Gold, Robert Fishel, Jason, Jennifer, Sarah and Adam Gray, William and Michael Hilliker; four great grandchildren; three brothers, Lester "Bud" (Barbara) Gray, Phillip Gray and Charles (Suzanne) Gray; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Jacqueline and Dr. Coleman Burke.

Private Graveside services will take place in the Kinney Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
