Barbara J Dudash

Barbara Joann Dudash, 79, of Port Huron Township, passed away after a long illness on March 30, 2016 in Port Huron.

She was born September 13, 1936, in Port Huron to the late Elwood and Loretta Renehan Burns. She married James Dudash in February 1960. He preceded her in death in March 1987.

Mrs. Dudash graduated from St. Stephen’s High School in 1954 and was a lifelong member of St. Stephen’s Parish. She was an X-ray technician for Dr. Charles Townley and Dr. Sidney Walker. She raised prize-winning rabbits in her early years.

She is survived by three children, Christine Dudash, Mishka (Mark) Larson, James Dudash; a sister, Jean Hooper; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 27 years, James; and brother, Thomas E. Burns, Norman M. Burns and Gerald L. Burns.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 in Holy Trinity Parish - St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Rev. Jeffrey Allan will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
