Andrew Charles “Andy” Pickelhaupt, 76, of Port Huron Township, died Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

He was born July 22, 1949 in Port Huron to the late Andrew and Leona Pickelhaupt. He married Jean Flint on April 18, 2012 in Tennessee.

Andy was employed in the data center at Port Huron Hospital and later worked for Customs and Immigration. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and building model cars. Andy honorably served in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; daughter, Rachel (John) Schleusener; step-children, Steven (Pam) Warnke, Brian (Heather) Warnke, Kevin Warnke and Jeff Warnke; grandchildren, Grace and Helen Warnke; sisters, Lynn Nihls, Sue (Tom) Madden, Betty (Bruce) Helmuth, Ron (Margo) Carmichael and Neil Pickelhaupt. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Carmichael, Dawn Dougoud and Jyll Carmichael.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026 in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Thanks to the generosity of an organ donor in 2006, Andy was able to enjoy another 20 years of his life.
