Jane Lee Sosnowski, 69, of Grant Township, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born February 28, 1944 in Port Huron to the late Fredrick and Margaret Howe. She married Christopher Sosnowski on April 4, 1964 in St. Stephen Catholic Church, Port Huron.
Mrs. Sosnowski was a member of St. Edward-on-the-Lake Catholic Church. She enjoyed going to casinos, playing bingo and traveling to places near casinos. She loved Elvis Presley and having Sunday dinners with her family. Her grandchildren were very important to her.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Christopher; three daughters, Donna (Jeffrey) Brown, Margaret Ann (Charles) Romine and Connie (Robert) Fleury, all of Jeddo ; three grandchildren, Corey Brown, Megan Fleury and Kristen Fleury; a step-grandson, Dustin Romine; a brother, Richard (Jackie) Foltz of Port Huron; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Claire Foltz and James Howe.
Visitation will be 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A Scripture Service will be held at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Sosnowski will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013 in St. Edward-on-the-Lake Catholic Church. The Rev. Lee Acervo will officiate.
The Rite of Committal will follow in Kinney Cemetery, Clyde Township.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #12.
