Hazel A Pattison
Hazel A. Pattison, 83, of Marysville, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013.
She was born February 14, 1930 in Marysville to the late John and Ester Busha. She married Louis J. Pattison on August 30, 1947 at South Park Baptist Church. He died in September 1986.
Mrs. Pattison was employed with City Awning Company for 29 years. She was a member of Marysville American Legion Auxiliary Post 449 and St. Clair County Salon 428, 8 & 40 and was a lifelong member of First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially while canoeing and camping.
She is survived by her partner of 21 years, James Jackson; her children, John Pattison, Eric and Velia Pattison, Craig and Lynn Pattison, Mark and Rose Pattison, Kenneth Pattison and Roger Pattison; a daughter-in-law, Vicki Pattison; her stepchildren, Dwight Jackson, Jason and Jeane Jackson, Jimmy and Sue Jackson, Ed and Nancy Sanders and Cindy and Ron Mortensen; four sisters, Florence Fowler, Agatha and Bob Pingley, Ethel Glombowski and Annis and Pat Parrish; a brother, Nelson Busha; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Louis E. Pattison; a grandson, Christopher Pattison; and a sister, Juanita Snyder.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Thursday in Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 13, 2013 in Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Reverend Keith Sparks of First Church of the Nazarene will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville. Hazel’s sons will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of the Nazarene or Blue Water Hospice.
