Carolyn J Allen

Carolyn Joyce Allen, 61, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013.

She was born March 5, 1952 in Port Huron to the late Gentle and Eleanor Mitchell. She married Willie J. Allen on September 6, 1975 in Port Huron.

Mrs. Allen was a member of Bethlehem Temple Church and enjoyed singing, crocheting and cooking.

She is survived by her husband, Willie; four children, Jeannine Mitchell, Rachel Allen, Brandon (Susan) Allen and Tiffany Allen; four grandchildren, Devin Meyers, RaShaun Augustin, Dante Meyers and DeVanna Meyers; a god son, Joseph Akers; six siblings, Edward Mitchell, Raymond Mitchell, Renee (Donald) Burell, Rev. Marvin (Cynthia) Mitchell, Eileen Denise Mitchell and Kevin Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Mitchell.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in Bethlehem Temple Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Marvin Mitchell will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
