Margaret A Miller

Margaret “Peggy” Miller, 87, of Port Huron died Friday, December 13, 2013.

She was born October 11, 1926 in Detroit to the late Joseph and Louise Bearden. She married Norman Miller on January 12, 1946 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2005.

Mrs. Miller was a devoted member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church where she was involved with the Action Group, WELCA, Caring Ministry, Mid-City Nutrition and enjoyed knitting and crocheting for the hat tree. She loved to play the piano and organ and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Hunter, Laurie (Ken) Nuske, Wendy (Dan) Rhein; son, James (Cheryl) Miller; fifteen grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marlene Weir.

Visiting will be from 2-4 and 7-9 Monday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in Our Saviour Lutheran Church. Rev. Donald R. Doerzbacher will officiate.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fort Gratiot. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
