Kenneth Endelman
April 27th, 1940 to December 18th, 2013
Kenneth Robert Endelman died suddenly on Wednesday, December 18, 2013.
He was born in St. Clair, Michigan on April 27, 1940. Kenneth was the middle child of five boys born to the late Leland Roy and Marion Endelmann. He was a 1958 graduate of St. Clair High School. Ken married Ann Marie Gratton on June 11, 1960.
Ken retired from the Detroit Edison after 35 years of dedicated service. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Moon Shooters for many years at Marysville Golf Course. He was also a member of the Pine River Sportsman’s Club and a collector of John Deere memorabilia. Ken enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially tending to his immaculate lawn. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Marysville.
The pride of his life was his loving wife, children and grandchildren whom he adored and doted on. In spite of multiple physical limitations over the last fifteen years, he did not let that slow him down, and he was constantly on the sidelines cheering on his grandchildren at their many sporting events.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Ann Marie; his children and their spouses, Karen and Brian Wilson and Joel and Dawn Endelman, his grandchildren Casey (fiancée Courtney), David, Jennifer and Derek, his brother Tom (Jill) Endelmann, his sister-in-law Karen (John) Roth, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Joel and Leland.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Traci Little will officiate.
