Thomas Steven Schoen, 58, of Greenwood Township, passed very unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, December 29, 2013.
He was born August 1, 1955 in Detroit. He married Carol Rodanhisler on December 27, 1989.
Tom was employed at SMR Automotive in Marysville as a maintenance technician. He loved to hunt, fish, shoot, camp, take pictures and spend time with his grandchildren. He also loved riding Harleys with his wife. He was a proud “Pa” to his grandchildren and a hardworking and loving man. He put everything he had into everything he did in life. His wife, children and grandchildren were the most important things in his life and he did everything to make his family happy.
He is survived by his best friend and the love of his life, Carol; three daughters, Sarah Schoen & fiancé, Dan Petrovic, Marsha Schoen and Nicole Schoen; three beautiful grandchildren, Isiah Coleman, Brody Samson and Athena Walker; his parents, John and Evelyn Schoen; two siblings, Daniel (Vicki) Schoen and Linda (Richard) Conrad; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Per Tom’s wishes, cremation will follow.
Memorial may be made to the family.
