Barbara J Hering

Barbara Jean Hering, 80, of Kimball, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 in her home.

She was born March 27, 1933 in Port Huron to the late George F. and Estella Alcorn. She married Thomas Arthur Leslie Hering on March 26, 1960 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on February 7, 2007.

Mrs. Hering attended Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed collecting dolls and building dollhouses.

She is survived two sons, Clarence “Jr.” (Marsha) Miller and Philip (Nicole) Miller; her daughter, Crystal Lee (Gerald) Stoner; five grandchildren; her sister, Shirley (James) Nolan and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip and Floyd Alcorn and her sister, Betty Ann Nestle.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2014 in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014 in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Mark Madsen of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate.

Burial will be in the Caswell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bryan Hering, Tom Wilkins, Lenny Wilkins, Joe McIntyre, Kevin Macomber and Anthony DuPree.
