David J Breathour

David James Breathour, 68, of Port Huron, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 21, 2014.

He was born February 11, 1945 in Port Huron to Helen and the late Harold Breathour. He married Linda M. Corbett on September 11, 2010 in Port Huron.

David was a truck driver for 36 years before his retirement. He served in the Michigan Army National Guard and the U.S. Army, and was a member of Moose Lodge #158 and Blue Water Aerie #3702 Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses and western movies.

David is survived by his wife, Linda; mother, Helen; sister, JoeAnn Breathour; son, Daniel Breathour; step-children, Julianna (Jeffrey) Hawley, Richard Bell, Cheryl (Michael) Martin, and Allen (Pam) Bell; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Lil Bit.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John Breathour; and sister, Gloria Dease.

A memorial service will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Fraternal Order of Eagles (2645 Howard Street, Port Huron) with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Philip D. Seppo will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council and the U.S. Army.
