John Wayne Dodge, 75, of Marysville, died Friday, January 31, 2014 in River District Hospital.
He was born November 9, 1938 in Harbor Beach to the late John and Alfredia Dodge. He married Barbara Navarro on October 30, 1987 in Bad Axe.
John served his Country in the U.S. Air Force and was employed in plant maintenance for many years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and being up North.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; three children, Debra Bailey of Butte, Montana, David and Dennis (Becky) Dodge all of Marysville; two step children, Robert (Tracy) Navarro of Croswell and Tracy (Tom) East of Galesburg, Michigan; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brother, Gary (Diane) Dodge; good friends, Jack and Iva Warner and his favorite dog, Rosco. He was preceded in death by two children, Darrin Dodge and Donna Wells.
A family memorial service will be held in Northern Michigan this summer.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Humane Society or the St. Clair County Veterans Office.
