Napoleon “Nap” Brooks, 58, of Smiths Creek, died Saturday, March 1, 2014.

He was born October 21, 1955 in Detroit to the union of Joe Sr. and Nora Brooks, the second of three boys.

Nap confessed Christ at an early age while attending St. John Baptist Church in Smiths Creek. He was a graduate of Port Huron High School and attended Lansing Community College.

He loved to fish in the St. Clair River.

He leaves to mourn his passing his devoted mother, Nora Brooks; two brothers, Joe Jr. (Dara) Brooks and Ervin (Michele) Brooks; aunts and uncles, Pearl Brown, Annie Dawson, Eli Parker, Sallie (Robert) Redditt and Mattie Roberts; nieces and nephews, Regina Brooks, Tanya Brooks, Dominque Brooks, Mariah Brooks, Alicia, Andrea and Daniel Good; and a host of cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Sr. and his niece, Tamika Brooks.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery.
