Michael Loren Spencer, 65 of Buel Township, died Saturday, March 8, 2014
He was born June 8, 1948 in Port Huron. He married Sharon Bowman on May 19, 2007 in Kimball Township.
Mr. Spencer served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and was employed as a machinist for Mapal, Inc. for 31 years. He loved his 1960 T-Bird convertible and Honda Trike Motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his parents, James “Chip” and Virgiline Spencer; two daughters, Donna Myers and Melissa Culps; his stepchildren, John Drzewicki and Alicia Drzewicki; five grandchildren, Rebecca Myers, Christopher Cunningham, Brittany Tenes, Caitlin Spencer, Arianna Culps; great granddaughter, Scarlett Sherbutt; his wife’s sister, Joann Lund; his wife’s brother, Bill (Penny) Bowman; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 1pm Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in the funeral home. Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate. Burial will follow in Caswell Cemetery. Graveside Military Honors will be held under the auspices of the U.S. Army and St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.
Michael, Brian, Cary and Gary Bowman, John Drzewicki and Shane Bowman will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials for Mr. Spencer may be made to Blue Water Hospice Home.
