Rebecca “Becky” L. Russel, 70, of Port Huron died Sunday, March 9, 2014.

She was born January 21, 1944 in Port Huron to the late David and Evelyn MacDonald.

Ms. Russel was a 1962 graduate of Port Huron High School. She was employed for 35 years at Rite Aid as a Pharmacy Technician. She loved playing card games, antiquing and was definitely the life of the party. Her number one love was watching her grandsons play hockey.

She is survived by her children, Rachelle (Gary) Smith of Grafton, Massachusetts and Derek Russel of Port Huron; grandchildren, Devin and Nathan Smith, both of Grafton, Massachusetts, Cody Smafield of Port Huron and Malia Russel of Ft. Myers, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David J. MacDonald; and sister, Marilyn A. MacDonald.

Memorial services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visiting from 11 am. Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Blue Water Hospice.
