Obituary

Theodore W. Semrow, 83, of Marysville, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014.

He was born December 14, 1930 in Port Huron to the late Max and Amy Semrow. He married Betty Dunsmore on January 27, 1951 in Port Huron.

Mr. Semrow was employed with Detroit Edison for 36 years, retiring in 1989 from the safety department. He was a life member of Pine Grove Lodge #11 F & AM and a member of Westminster Church. He enjoyed camping with the Torchlighters and with family. His creativity was expressed through woodworking and crafts. He spent many hours in the woodshop making toys and gifts for family and friends. Ted and Betty wintered in Florida for 22 years.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty; sons, Dennis and Karen of Fort Gratiot, Kevin and Karen of Missouri, Jeff and Jane of Fort Gratiot and Tim and Gwen of Fort Gratiot; daughters, Becky and Paul Faulkner of Holland and Judi and Tim Langolf of Port Huron; a daughter-in-law, Pat Semrow; grandchildren, Bobbi and Chad Johnson, Dan and Nicole Semrow, Corey Semrow and Tracy Sills, Trevor and Heather Semrow, Kim and David Middlin, Bryan and Stacy Faulkner, A.J. and Lindsay Faulkner, Kody and Lily Semrow, Kord and Sarah Semrow, Kolton and Adelle Semrow, Kolby and Whitley Semrow, Jade and Mike Moeller, Jared and Sarah Semrow, Jordan Semrow and Brittany Boucher, Kelci Semrow, Taylor Semrow, Alina Langolf and Jackson Langolf; nine great grandchildren, Abigail, Courtney, Madison, William, Isabella, Adalyn, Emmalynn, Zachary and Kannon; sisters, Barbara Anglebrandt and Emma Scriver; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Semrow; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Karl Thomas; four brothers, Neil, Max, George and Joe; and two sisters, Cleo Seaman and Luella Armstrong.

Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. on Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2014 in Westminster Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
