Vanda L. Neal, 84, of St. Clair Township, died Thursday, April 3, 2014.
She was born August 4, 1929 in Goodells to the late Hiram and Edna Sweet. She married Robert Neal on March 5, 1949.
Mrs. Neal taught Sunday school for many years and loved to travel. She was a wonderful wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert; a son, Clayton (Kay) Neal of Marysville; two daughters, Linda (Robert) Lane of St. Clair and Julie (John) Jobe of England; seven grandchildren, Valarie Lane of St. Clair, Bobbie Ann (Paul) Curtiss of Fort Gratiot, Laura (Tim) Harrison of St. Clair, Joe (Lisa) Neal of Marysville, Jenny Neal of Marysville, Joy (Neil) Bailey of England and Josiah Jobe of Florida; four great grandchildren, Robbie, Joshua, Taylor and Alyssa; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Neal in 1999; sisters, Geneva Graham, Alice Ramsey and Joyce Sparling; and brother, Vern Sweet.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Rev. James Pettit of Griswold Street Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township. Pallbearers will be Paul Curtiss, Gerald Ramsey, Don Ramsey, Warren Head, Tim Harrison and Kyle Dailer.
