Elsie G Kaufman

Elsie Gertrude Kaufman, 86, of Marysville, died Friday, April 4, 2014.

She was born September 29, 1927 in Detroit to the late Robert & Gertrude Neumann. She married Robert Kaufman on November 16, 1946 in Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Detroit.

Mrs. Kaufman was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church and volunteered with Blue Water Hospice.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Kara (John) Maddens; four dear grandchildren, Rachel (Jeffrey) Rakunas, Ryan (Tara) Redoutey, Katelyn and Kelsey Redoutey; two great grandchildren, Karsyn Redoutey and Owen Rakunas, and two great grandchildren on the way; a brother, Arthur (Kathy) Neumann; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert Kaufman.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Trinity Lutheran Church, 1517 10th Street, Port Huron. Reverend Mark Madson will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are by Marysville Funeral Home.
