Virginia H Wilton

Virginia Helen Wilton, 86, of Fort Gratiot, died Thursday, April 10, 2014. She was born January 23, 1928 in Port Huron to the late Roy and Florence Krohn. She married Harold Walter Wilton on January 17, 1947 in Lakeport. He died February 10, 2005. Mrs. Wilton was employed for many years at London’s Farm Dairy. She was a faithful member of Central Lakeport United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, golfing, bowling, helping others, spending time with her family and going to their cabin in Northern Michigan. She is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Thomas “Skip”) Endean and Karen (Tim Reynolds) Black; five grandchildren, Mathew (Jennifer) Endean, Thomas Endean IV, Michael Endean, Randy Hornby and Craig Hornby; several great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Betty Krohn. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Harold Wilton; and three brothers, Gilbert, George and Harold Krohn. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Central Lakeport United Methodist Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Ralph Barteld will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Lakeport United Methodist Church.
