Julie A Schmidt

Julie Ann Schmidt, 61, of Windsor Ontario, formerly of Port Huron, MI went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday May 2, 2014.

She was born October 27, 1952 in Guam. She is the daughter of Emma (Tuthill) & Clarence Sommerville.

She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church Windsor Ontario. She earned her Master of Education from Wayne State University. She retired from teaching in 2001 and married Robert J Schmidt Jr.

Julie is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Stephanie (Al) Harrington, of St Clair, MI; step son, Jared (Peggy) Schmidt of Windsor, ON; step daughter, Joy Schmidt of St Louis, MO; brother, Ron Sommerville of New Jersey; seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be from 3-5 and 7-9 pm Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, May 5, 2014 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Pastors Roy Dowdy and Rick Cowan will officiate. Burial will follow in Burtchville Cemetery, Lakeport.
