Carly M Sansone
Carly Mae Sansone, 21, of Smiths Creek, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014 as a result of an automobile accident while traveling through the mountains of Colorado.
She was born November 17, 1992 in Port Huron to Mark and Deborah Sansone.
Carly graduated from Port Huron High School in 2010 where she excelled in both tennis and volleyball and received the Big Red of the Year Award as a graduating senior. For several years, she has coached and helped many youth in the Port Huron, Marquette and South Jersey areas. Carly was currently attending Stockton College, where she was so very happy, looking forward to the upcoming volleyball season. She loved nature, hiking, animals and was dearly loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by her parents, Mark and Deborah Sansone; her sister, Rebecca; grandparents, Elsie Dereadt, Jean Martin, Ward (Deena) Sansone and Joyce Williamson; her aunts and uncles, Tod (Debora) Dereadt, John (Julie) Radtke, Ric (Chrissy) Sansone, Joe Sansone and Amanda Sansone; and many great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Friday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Port Huron, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. The Reverend Mark Madson will officiate.
Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Mark Sansone for the establishment of “The Carly Mae Sansone Volleyball Fund” to help one individual from Port Huron High and one from Stockton College.
