June Elizabeth Davis, 76, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014.

She was born September 15, 1937 in Port Huron to the late Walter and Anna Schlicht. She married Denis Davis on May 11, 1957.

Mrs. Davis retired from Mary Maxim. June loved attending her children’s and grandchildren’s school and sporting events, especially baseball in the summer. She also enjoyed shopping and her flower and vegetable gardens. Her family was what was most important in June’s life. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Denis; children, Michael Davis of Harper Woods, Alan (Tori) Davis of Kimball, and Laura (Rick) Buckley of St. Clair; grandchildren; Ryan and Chase Davis, and Brooke Buckley; sister-in-law, Donella Armstrong of Yale; two nieces and several cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest W. Schlicht.

She will be thought of often and dearly missed.

Arrangements are being made for a private family graveside service.
