Richard Schultz
Richard Elmer “Dick” Schultz, 78, of Clyde Township, died peacefully in his home with his family by his side Thursday, September 4, 2014.
He was born June 26, 1936 in Garden City to the late Elmer and Leola Schultz. He married Victoria Otto on February 14, 1976 in St. Clair Shores.
Mr. Schultz was employed with AT & T for 32 years, retiring as a supervisor in 1988. After retirement, he was a driver for Northgate Ford. Dick served in the U.S. Navy. He loved fishing and watching daytime TV.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria “Vicki”; four children, Leslie Moulder, Richard J. Schultz, Matthew (Nicole) Dusterhoft and David (Victoria) Dusterhoft; seven grandchildren, Nichole Debacker, Jamie and Rachel Schultz, and Joseph, Jordan, Daniel and Zachary Dusterhoft; two great grandchildren, Brooke Debacker and Brandon Debacker; a half-sister, Cynthia (Randy) Wayman; and his “fur babies,” Beauregard and Cricket.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, September 8, 2014 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Pastor Beverly Dimmitt, a dear family friend, will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Navy and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
