Gerald Patrick Mullaney, 76, of Marysville, died Monday, September 8, 2014.
He was born March 10, 1938 in Detroit to the late Joseph and Mildred Mullaney. He married Theresia Bandl on May 5, 1962 in Detroit. She died March 11, 2009.
Mr. Mullaney was a Sargent with the Detroit Police Department and after his retirement he was a security specialist with TACOM in Warren. Gerald also served the country in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by a daughter, Mary (Brooks) DeVos; and a grandson, Aidan DeVos.
Mr. Mullaney will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 12, 2014 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Reverend Art Baranowski, will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery.
