Lee M Sheldon

Lee M. Sheldon, 64, of Fort Gratiot, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 3, 2014.

She was born August 9, 1950 in Detroit to the late Alvin and Grace Root.

Mrs. Sheldon owned and operated Sheldon Construction Company with her husband, George and was the former Director of the Center for Human Resources. She was a devoted Christian and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her husband George; three children, Hank (Angela) Sheldon, Julie Sheldon and Luke (Jessie) Sheldon; a granddaughter, Eliana; her sister, Lynn McNamara; brother, Joel (Darlene) Root; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014 in The River Church of God, 3675 North River Road, Fort Gratiot.

Memorials contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
