Judith K Collier

Judith Kay Collier, 72, of Kimball Township, died Monday, October 20, 2014.

She was born March 15, 1942 in Detroit to the late August “Dutch” and Lillian Herrin. She married James Collier on August 13, 1960 in Detroit.

Mrs. Collier was a day care provider. She enjoyed reading Danielle Steele books, books about dogs and solving word search puzzles. She was a fan of the Red Wings, U of M and the Green Bay Packers. She loved to bowl, camp and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, James; six children, Darrel Collier, Ken Collier, Brian Collier, Sue (Dwayne) Collier-Pauly, Russ Collier and Rob Collier; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a sister, Kathy Sousa; three brothers, Donald, Michael and Joseph Herrin; a brother-in-law, Glen Fackler; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Fackler.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p..m Friday in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Mrs. Collier will lie in state from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014 in St. Christopher Catholic Church. The Reverend Arthur Baranowski will officiate.
