Kenneth R Aldrich
Kenneth Ray Aldrich, 64, of Kimball Township died Friday, November 14, 2014.
He was born June 13, 1950 in Port Huron. He married Janet L. Thornton on April 30, 1971 in Pilgrim Holiness Church, Port Huron.
Mr. Aldrich was employed with Grand Trunk Railroad, Thumb Homecare and Oscar W. Larson Co. He served honorably with the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; daughters, Jodi (Daniel) Dunkin and Jennifer (Bryan) Strauss; grandchildren, Kimberley, Kennedy and Jack Dunkin, Addison and Cooper Strauss; mother Gladys Lee; father-in-law, Ray Thornton, sister, Roxanne LaRosa; brothers, John (Peggy) Carpenter and David Lee; sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Ed) Robertson and Linda (Loy) Wood; special aunt, Karen (Jerry) Stuthers; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Aldrich; and brothers, Michael Aldrich and Richard Lee.
Visiting will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in Hillside Wesleyan Church. Pastor Dennis Cook and Pastor Bill Kinnan will officiate.
Memorials may be made to Hillside Wesleyan Church or the American Diabetes Association.
