Elizabeth J. Clark, 94, of Kimball Township, was promoted to Glory on Sunday, November 23, 2014.
She was born November 29, 1919 in Port Huron to the late John and Alice VanBuskirk. She married Francis B. Clark on June 29, 1945 in Port Huron. He died April 8, 2004.
Mrs. Clark was a lifelong member of The Salvation Army and was involved with the Golden Agers, Kitchen Band, League of Mercy and Home League, where she was chaplain for many years. Elizabeth was also a dedicated Salvation Army Christmas bell ringer for over 30 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie (Michael) Warner of Brooklyn; two sons, Robert Clark of California and Loren VanBuskirk of Greenville, South Carolina; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Shirley Ann VanBuskirk; four brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014 in The Salvation Army, Port Huron Citadel. Major Mark Turner will officiate.
Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery, Clyde Township. Pallbearers will be Bill Wehrwein, Allen Warner, Ken Reeves and John Lowry.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army.
