Patricia Ann Baird, 80, of Fort Gratiot Township, died Sunday, December 28, 2014.
She was born November 30, 1934 to the late Floyd and Lavina Duncan. She married Frank Baird on November 2, 1951 in Angola, Indiana.
Patricia was a top saleswoman at Blue Water Chrysler. She also sold real estate for many years for Leo Samson Realty and Home Towne Realty. She was a championship water skier and a founding member of the Marysville Aqua Skiers Club, skiing on the Black River off Strawberry Lane. She was a skilled and avid Scrabble player. She was a devout Jehovah’s Witness.
She is survived by her husband, Frank; daughters, Karen Baird and Laraine (Robert) Bossman; sons, William (Rene) Baird and Gordon Baird; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sisters, Danice Fleming and Virgilene (James) Spencer; brother, Chuck (Helen) Schmidt; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Jessica and Ingrid.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2761 Yeager Street, Port Huron.
