Rev. Ronald G Walker
The Rev. Ronald Glenn Walker, 79, of Fort Gratiot, went to be with the Lord on New Year’s Day, Thursday, January 1, 2015.
He was born December 2, 1935 in Sault Ste. Marie to the late Wilbert and Mildred Walker. He married Eunice Clark on January 15, 1955 in Detroit.
Rev. Walker was a minister in the Wesleyan Church for 42 years, serving in Lansing, Utica, North Lakeport, Croswell and Port Huron, and as District Superintendent in Wisconsin. He enjoyed golfing and activities with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eunice; four children, Alan (Daniele) Walker, Tammy (Marshall) Cliff, Gary (Cathy) Walker, and Rev. Ronald (Teri) Walker; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Larry (Carol) Walker; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2015 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 in Hillside Wesleyan Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Reverend William Kinnan Jr. and the Reverend William Kinnan Sr. will officiate.
Burial will be in Croswell Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hillside Wesleyan, Croswell Wesleyan or Lakeport Wesleyan Church.
