Thomas W. Siemoneit, 67, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015.
He was born September 15, 1947 in Hameln, Germany to the late Willi and Gertrude Siemoneit.
Mr. Siemoneit was employed with BME Inc. prior to his retirement. He served in Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a member of V.V.A. Chapter #284 and was a member and Service Officer for D.A.V. Chapter #12 where he assisted many local veterans in applying for benefits. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his son, Thomas R. Siemoneit; sister, Gabriele (Jeff) Wilcox; two half-sisters, Ingrid Berger and Gisa (Bob) Batz; several nieces and nephews; his loving Port Huron family, fiancé, Judy Logan; her family, Angela and Gabriel Gibson, Randy and Vanessa Logan, Ryan and Amanda Logan; his constant companion, Princess, the bird; and many friends at D.A.V. Chapter #12.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015 in Trinity Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Mark Madson will officiate. Military honors will be conducted by the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.
Burial will be in the Allied Veterans Columbarium.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or D.A.V. Chapter #12.
