Thomas H Sage
November 1st, 1961 to January 11th, 2015
Thomas Harold Sage, 53, of Port Huron, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 11, 2015.
He was born November 1, 1961 in Port Huron to the late Harold and Lilas Sage.
Tom is survived by his four loving sisters, Cheryl Miller, Barbara (Paul) Monteith, Beverly Kosel and Gina Fenton. Tom dedicated his life to his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, a great great nephew and a great great niece, all of whom are better people for having loved him and been loved by him.
Tom loved his family and spent all the time he had with them. Tom loved spending time with his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews with all his heart, playing in the snow, playing any kind of sport, going for walks, playing video games and board games, talking with them, anything they wanted. To those kids, he was not only their Great Uncle, but their confidant, friend and their hero.
Tom also loved Detroit sports teams, Tigers, Lions Red Wings and was a U of M fan to the core! On any given day, he could be found watching games and highlights with any number of friends and family. Beginning in his youth, Tom played golf, baseball and hockey and played in the Silver Sticks, so it was fitting that his last days were spent watching the Silver Sticks tournaments in Port Huron with some of those great nephews.
Tom will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him. It is with deepest sadness we say goodbye to him, but Tom will forever be in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2 p.m.
