Edith M Lavender

February 6th, 1936 to January 28th, 2015
Edith Maxine “Esh” Lavender lived a wonderful Christian life and went on to glory to meet her Lord and Savior on January 28, 2015.

She was born February 6, 1936 in Clayton, West Virginia to Earlie Ervin Harris and LouVerna (Aliff) Harris.

She married Rev. Dr. Malcolm Lee Lavender and had two sons, Terry (Pamela) Lavender of Shepherd, Michigan and Rusty (Candis) Lavender of Winfield, West Virginia; grandchildren, Amber Lavender (Sergio Flores) of Austin, Texas, Nathan Lavender and Joshua Lavender, both of Port St. Lucie, Florida; great grandchildren, Grace Wilson and Gabriel Flores, both of Austin, Texas; and sister, Wanda Hudson-Lilly of Concord, North Carolina.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. The Rev. David Mattocks will officiate.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan & Joshua Lavender, Grace Wilson, Sergio Flores, Gabriel Flores and Richard Sylvester.

Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Water Hospice.
