LeRoy Charles Janosky, 71, of Burtchville Township, died Wednesday, February 18, 2015.
He was born May 30, 1943 in South Haven, Michigan. He married Caroline Salinas on January 28, 1989 in South Haven.
Mr. Janosky served with the South Haven Police Department for 10 years and was a tool design engineer for 35 years. He was a member of the Port Huron Assembly of God and helped run the food pantry for several years. He was also a past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge in South Haven.
He is survived by his wife, Caroline; ten children, LeRoy Janosky, Lydell Janosky, Lorraine Gillum, Loren Janosky, Lorretta Gillum, Leon (Jennifer) Janosky, Leandra Janosky, Denver Gillum, Lance Janosky and Hope Gillum; many grandchildren; two sisters, Grace and Dorothy; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015 in the Port Huron Assembly of God Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Robert J. Corby will officiate.
