David E Tyson

David E. Tyson, 85, of Port Huron, died Thursday, February 19, 2015.

David was employed in the maintenance department at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing for many years. He was a professional boxer in Detroit, loved his dogs and was a kind, giving and generous soul who enjoyed his time on earth.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Monzo and his many friends at Brown’s Adult Foster Care. He was preceded in death by his good friend and companion, Billie.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
