Mitchell Thomas McKelvey, 19, of Worth Township, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 13, 2015.
He was born January 28, 1996 in Port Huron to Grant and Julie McKelvey.
Mitchell attended Port Huron Northern and Cros-Lex High School. He was a Red Wings fan, a sharp dresser, and enjoyed spending time with his nephews.
He is survived by his parents, Grant and Julie McKelvey; two brothers, Derek McKelvey (Rita Provost) and Patric McKelvey; three sisters, Erin Rusch (Brad Curtis), Alexis (Shane) Zeller and Madisin McKelvey; his grandmother, Sylvia Barrons; six nephews, Zack Genaw, Tyler Rusch, Kamron, Carter & Kayden McKelvey and Adam Zeller; a niece, Madysen Curtis; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, March 16, 2015 in Lakeport Wesleyan Church with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. The Rev. Drew Mills will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
