Lawrence Edward Stark, 64, of Port Huron Township, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 16, 2015.
He was born October 24, 1950 in Port Huron to the late Frank Roy and Thelma Maxine Stark. He married Lois Kay McPherson on September 1, 1973 at First Presbyterian Church in Port Huron.
Mr. Stark was a mechanic and retired after 33 years with Cawood Auto. His love of automobiles extended outside of work, as he was a truly a car fanatic. He graduated from PHHS in 1970 and was a lifelong area resident.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lois; three sons, Loren (Barbara) Stark, Lee (Rebecca) Stark, and Lance (Ashley) Stark; a brother, Lowell (Teresa) Stark; a brother-in-law, Daniel (Arlene) Farquhar; many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws; and his canine buddy, Jake. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine Farquhar; a brother, Dennis Stark; and a great aunt, Ethel Mae “Aunt Mae” Brown.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 20, 2015 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend David Weaver of Jesus Lighthouse will officiate.
Burial will follow in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township. Pallbearers will be Lawrence’s sons as well as Ronald Bradley, Andrew Day, and Joshua Streblow.
Memorials may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
