Patricia L. Brandow, 84, of Fort Gratiot, died Monday, May 18, 2015.
She was born May 5, 1931 in Port Huron to the late Lawrence and Dorothy Pedrotti. She married Bill Brandow on October 3, 1953 in Port Huron. He died February 18, 1975.
Mrs. Brandow lived in Harbor Beach for 33 years and worked at I.G.A. and Hamill Manufacturing. After moving back to Port Huron, she was a driver with the Council on Aging until her retirement. She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, St. Ann’s Altar Society and was a life member of Harbor Beach V.F.W. Post 9344 Auxiliary. She volunteered at Mid City Nutrition and was a very giving person. Pat enjoyed people, knitting and playing cards and was known as the Cookie Lady.
She is survived by a sister, Mary Knowlton; a sister-in-law, Helen Pedrotti; nieces and nephews, Doug (Sue) Knowlton, Jeff Knowlton, Jo Ellen Knowlton, Trish (Harry) Schultz, Julie Knowlton, Chris (Shelly) Knowlton, Mike (Melissa) Pedrotti, Cheryl (Richard) Armstead, Suzanne (Chris) Dimick and Lori (Don) Allen; many great nieces and great nephews; and special friend, Nancy Bourdeau. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Pedrotti; a nephew, Larry Knowlton; and a brother-in-law, Norman Knowlton.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brandow will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2015 in St. Stephen Catholic Church. The Rev. Brian Cokonougher will officiate.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Lake Huron Cemetery, Harbor Beach. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen Catholic Church or Harbor Beach V.F.W Post 9344 Auxiliary.
