Mary E Davenport
Mary Evelyn Davenport, 70, of Port Huron Township, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015.
She was born July 6, 1944 in Athens, Tennessee to Charles and Margaret McConkey. She married Frank Davenport on March 2, 1963 in Port Huron.
Mrs. Davenport was a paraprofessional with the Port Huron Area School District, where her passion was helping special needs children. She attended Grace Life Baptist Church and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Frank; three children, Frank (Lisa) Davenport III, Timothy (Colleen) Davenport and Patty Davenport Bahhur; five grandchildren, Frank Davenport IV, Christopher Davenport, Heather Anderson, Jarrod Davenport and Hana Bahhur; three great grandchildren, Summer Davenport, Halle Manns and Ellah Manns; a sister, Dottie (Frank) Baccari; three sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Marge (Darwin) McLeod, Ida Bailey and Mary Kallio; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015 in Grace Life Baptist Church, 7040 Imlay City Road, Clyde. The Rev. Matt McPhillips will officiate.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Pallbearers will be Frank Davenport IV, Chris Davenport, Jarrod Davenport, Craig Dahlke, Mike Connell and Brett Baccari.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
