Maurice J Tack
Maurice Jerome Tack, 76, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015. He was born June 23, 1938 in Bad Axe to the late Jerome and Mary Tack. He married Janet “Jenny” Black on August 2, 1960 in Port Huron. Mr. Tack was a custodian with Port Huron Area Schools for over 20 years before his retirement. He previously worked for Ullenbruch’s Flowers. He served in the National Guard. Maurice enjoyed gardening and was very proud of his yard. More than anything, he loved spending time with his grandkids. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jenny; two daughters, Renee (Tim) Aldrich and Laurie (Joe) Beamer; a son, Kevin Tack; 11 grandchildren, Nathan, Tiffany and Zachary Aldrich, Kevin, Courtney and Justin Tack, Jolynn (Gary) Messina, Ashley and Travis Beamer, Brian (Dusty) Tack Jr. and Jakob Simpson; six great grandchildren, DeAndre, Brantley, Bailey, Aubrey, Ashton and Avari, and two more on the way; and a brother, Jim Tack. He was preceded in death by two sons, Brian and Darren Tack; two brothers, George and Henry Tack; and a sister, Mary Harris. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Randy Bennett will officiate. Burial will be in Port Sanilac Cemetery. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
