Marilyn K. Nuss, 79, of Fort Gratiot Township, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 after a brief illness.
She was born June 19, 1936 in Port Huron to the late Ralph and Mildred Wakeham and was a lifelong resident. She married Reginald G. Nuss on November 3, 1956 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on November 18, 1998.
Mrs. Nuss was employed with Mary Maxim for 20 years. She was an Election Inspector for over 25 years in Fort Gratiot Township.
She is survived by her son, Donald (Linda) Nuss of Fort Gratiot; her daughter, Kay (Keith) Caryl of Goodrich; grandchildren, Kristen, Tyler and Kasey; a brother, Duane (Richard Sutherland) Wakeham; a sister, Charlene Palmateer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Nuss; and a sister, Peggy Czech.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Private graveside services will be held in Lakeside Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Water Hospice Home.
