Shirley A Moore

Shirley Ann Moore, 65, of Port Huron, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 as the result of an automobile accident.

She was born February 9, 1950 in Port Huron to the late Philip and Maggie Stewart.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Moore was a lunch lady at Port Huron Northern High School and also worked at Wendy’s and Kroger. She attended Restoration Christian Community Church. She loved cooking for and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two children, Roger (Jennifer) Moore and Regina Moore; seven grandchildren, Dezmond Pope, Willie Marshall Jr., Aaliyah Moore, Tyemier Moore, Davon Nelson, Zaylen Moore and Davarius Moore; two sisters, Christine Norman and Darlene (Robert) Reardon; five brothers, Warren Stewart, David Stewart, Mark Stewart, Carlos Stewart and Douglas (Lathis) Stewart; special friend, Shirley Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Tarlene Stewart; a brother, Harvey Stewart; step father, Walter Brown; and her longtime companion, James Gadie.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, July 17, 2015 in Faith Christian Community Church with visitation from 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery.
